Winter Where the Palmettos Are
Escape the snow and stay a month or more in the mild temperatures of the beautiful South Carolina coast.
When the summer crowds head home, the South Carolina coast becomes something even better: quieter, warmer than anywhere up north, and a whole lot more affordable. Our snowbird and monthly rentals give you a fully furnished home base — real kitchens, washers and dryers, fast Wi-Fi, and room to actually live — at rates that make a season by the sea surprisingly attainable.
Whether you're escaping a northern winter, working remotely with a better view, or just want to slow down and stay awhile, we'll help you find the right home for a month, a season, or longer.
Why Come
Why Winter on the South Carolina Coast?
Mild, sunny winters.
Average daytime temperatures in the 60s from November through March — golf weather, beach-walk weather, sit-on-the-porch-with-coffee weather. You'll trade snow shovels for sunsets.
Off-season rates, monthly discounts.
Fall and winter are already the most affordable time to stay on the coast. Book 30 nights or more and the rates get even better — often a fraction of what the same home costs in July.
The beach, without the crowds.
Miles of sand, empty bike paths, easy parking, and no waiting for a table at the restaurants locals actually love.
A real home, not a hotel room.
Full kitchens, separate bedrooms, laundry, dedicated workspaces, and outdoor space. Everything set up before you arrive — just bring your suitcase.
A local team on call.
We live and work here. If anything comes up during your stay, you're in good hands.

Where to Stay
Where Will You Land?
Hilton Head Island
Winter is when Hilton Head shows off. Tee times are easy to get on world-class courses, the leisure paths are wide open for biking, and the island's restaurants roll out their best during winter dining events. Dolphin cruises still run, the lighthouse still glows, and Lowcountry oyster roasts are in full swing.
Edisto Beach
If your ideal winter involves more herons than high-rises, Edisto is your island. Shell hunting on quiet beaches, fishing in the ACE Basin, botany bay sunrises, and evenings that end with stars instead of traffic. It's the slow season on an island that was never in a hurry to begin with.
Myrtle Beach
The Grand Strand doesn't hibernate. Live shows and theaters run all winter, the boardwalk stays lively, and the area's 80-plus golf courses are at their best — and their cheapest. Add in endless dining, shopping at Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing, and a calendar of winter festivals, and you'll never run out of reasons to stay another month.
Charleston
History, food, and charm that don't take a season off. Winter in Charleston means strolling King Street without the summer heat, easy reservations at award-winning restaurants, plantation gardens beginning to bloom by late winter, and world-class events like the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition. It's the Holy City at its most livable.
